Knowledge is light and ignorance is darkness

:bulletred: A RELIGIOUS OBLIGATION
In Islam, To seek knowledge is a sacred duty, it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female. The first word revealed of the Qur'an was -Iqra'- Which can be translated into RECITE!, READ!, LEARN! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! BE educated!

In Islam, knowledge comes before action; there should not be any action without knowledge. because action that is not based on knowledge is certainly based on ignorance. and ignorant actions lead to failure and sin.
Islam calls us to seek knowledge. The last prophet of Islam, -peace and blessings of the God be upon him- made seeking knowledge an obligation upon every Muslim, and he explained that the superiority of the one who has knowledge over the one who merely worships is like the superiority of the moon over every other heavenly body. He said that the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets and that the Prophets did not leave behind dinars and dirhams (i.e., money), rather their inheritance was knowledge, so whoever acquires it has gained a great share. And he -peace be upon him- said that seeking knowledge is a way to Paradise. He said: “Whoever follows a path in the pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him.”

Islam calls us to learn all kinds of beneficial knowledge. Branches of knowledge vary in status and importance. The most important of all branches of knowledge are the sciences of sharee’ah through which man comes to know his creator, his purpose of life, his way for leading a prosperous life and his way to salvation in the hereafter. This is the knowledge with which Allah honoured His prophets and messengers. the God almighty taught this knowledge to his last messenger as well so that he might teach it to mankind.

Proper understanding of Islam is one of the best of good characteristics with which a Muslim may be honoured. The Prophet -peace be upon him- once said: “When Allah wishes good for a person, He makes him understand the religion.”

Knowledge brings a great reward. in Islam, the one who points the way to something good is like the one who does it. When the good knowledgeable person dies, his reward with Allah does not cease, rather it continues to increase so long as people benefit from his knowledge. The Prophet -peace be upon him- said: “When a man dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three – an ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge or a righteous son who will pray for him.”

If the scholar spreads his knowledge among the people, he will have a reward like that of those who follow him. The Prophet -peace be upon him- said: “Whoever calls people to right guidance will have a reward like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in the slightest, and whoever calls people to misguidance will have a burden of sin like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in the slightest.”

:bulletred: BECOME HONORED OR REMAIN STEPPED ON!
The second Calif of the Muslims, Omar ibn-Al-Khattab -may the God be pleased with him- once said:
"We are a nation whom Allah has honored with Islam, and whenever we seek honor in something else, Allah will humiliate us."
Brothers and sisters in Islam; In today's world, Many Muslims seek honor with other than Islam: Many went far from the true Islam and try to please the non-believers. they try to imitate them and follow their ways and do the opposite of what the God truly commands. that's why we are stepped on by the non-believers. and they will keep stepping on us until we learn and return to the true Islam, until we understand that the essence of Islam is to seek knowledge. for there is no correct Islam without knowledge and there is no honor without correct Islam.
We, the children, are the future. The future lies in our hands, but only through knowledge because whoever neglects learning in youth, loses the past and is dead for the future.

May The God -Glory be to him- increase our knowledge and give us strength to behave and act just as He likes us to do and be pleased with us
Aameen.

I hope this was beneficial.
